My graduate school journey allows me to explore several industries in preparation for the job search after graduation. I am interested in team-based positions with a focus on the healthcare industry and life science challenges. During my tenure, I am building skills to prepare me for jobs in the consulting, science communications, and biotech.

Throughout my scientific career, I have been constantly motivated by the molecular mechanisms employed by human disease and how these pathways and players can be targeted to create therapeutics. My focus has become centered around mitochondrial dysfunction and the biosynthesis of important cellular players called iron-sulfur clusters.
